Websites, apps and software for your business

I'm Jamie, a software engineer with over 15 years of professional experience. I work directly with businesses to build websites, develop mobile apps and create software that makes everyday work easier.

Tell me what you're planning, or what's getting in the way, and we can work out what you need.

What I can help with

Business websites

Your website should make it easy for people to understand what you do and get in touch. I build websites that present your business clearly, with straightforward navigation and layouts that work well on phones and computers.

Whether you're starting from scratch or replacing an existing site, we'll work out what your customers need to know and give it a clear home.

Mobile apps

I develop apps for iPhone and Android, from the initial idea through to release and ongoing maintenance.

We'll work through what the app needs to do and decide what belongs in the first version, so the project starts with a clear scope.

Custom software

If you're spending too much time managing spreadsheets, repeating admin or copying information between systems, custom software can help.

I build tools for tasks such as quoting and scheduling, and connect existing systems so information moves between them without the manual work.

Google and local search

If your business serves a particular area, your Google presence matters alongside your website.

I can help set up your Google Business Profile, check your details across directory listings and give customers a straightforward way to leave reviews.

How a website project works

Apps and custom software start with a more detailed discussion so we can agree the right scope and approach. For a website, here's what you can expect.

  1. First, we talk through what you need

We'll discuss your business, your customers and what you want the website to achieve. I'll explain the options and let you know what I'll need from you, such as information about your services, photographs and any existing branding.

  2. You receive a clear quote

I'll give you a fixed price in writing before work starts, with the pages, features and work included clearly described. We'll also cover the domain, hosting and any ongoing support.

  3. I build it, with your feedback

You'll be able to see and try the website before it goes live. We'll review the wording, images and layout together, with those revisions included in the agreed price. If you have ideas that expand the project, we'll discuss the work and cost before adding them.

  4. We get it ready to launch

Once you're happy with the site, I'll put it live on your domain and connect it to your Google Business Profile where relevant. Your domain is registered in your name, and the finished website belongs to you.

  5. Support is available afterwards

If you'd like me to keep the website up to date and look after your listings, we can agree an ongoing support arrangement. You can also come back to me when you need a change or want to add something new.

About me

I'm Jamie Mansel, a senior software engineer based in Carmarthenshire. In my day-to-day work, I build production software for systems that large organisations rely on. My experience covers websites, mobile apps and cloud infrastructure.

Through ManselTech, you work directly with me throughout your project. I'll talk through the requirements with you, develop the website or software and explain the decisions along the way.

I work remotely, so you don't need to be nearby to work with me.

Tell me about your project

Tell me a little about your business and what you have in mind. If you haven't settled on a solution yet, describe the problem you're trying to solve.

I'll get back to you with any questions, and we can discuss the next step.
